The department is supported by resident doctors and nursing staff with special training to handle cases of Accidents and Emergencies. The department treats around 3500 patients per month.

• Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Bengali and Tamil interpreters on staff 24 hours/day, with the facility to obtain other language interpreters during the day time.
